Doorway to new life

I have been given a new lease on life through Jesus Christ and God. Jesus has shown me the “doorway to a new life” many times over.

Born into in Hindu home, I was never a believer of Hinduism, though my family was strong devotees I knew that a great God was calling me. I eventually married a Roman Catholic at the St. Joseph RC Church when I first encountered God, feeling his presence emanating so passionately I made a personal promise to enter into catechism classes. Since marrying I have gone through a lot of rough times forgetting my promise. Then going through a stressful domestic problem I decided to return permanently. I have placed all my frustrations and worries in the Lord, since then I have received two sacraments, Baptism and Holy Eucharist and my live have improved in so many aspects. His presence continues to grow and comfort me, He continues to guide me and my faith has increased endlessly. It fulfils this verse of Scripture which I hold dear:
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4. – Boodhanie Boodhoo
