About Us

As a supplementary initiative, the Catechetical Office offers a Basic Faith Formation Correspondence Course as an alternative ongoing faith formation programme for catechists/teachers. The lessons can be completed in one’s own time and in the comfort of one’s home. To date, some 1100+ persons have enrolled for the correspondence course, which addresses Catechesis, Theology and Methodology.  This program is available fully online. In lieu with His Grace’s publication entitled “Teach us to Pray”, The ACO has designed a short online course called “How to Pray”. Through this course participants will journey through the guidance of Archbishop Jason Gordon to enhance the formation of their faith. Check out Online Courses for more details on how to get registered and participate. 

Bread of Life Discourse is designed to deepen your understanding of the Eucharist as integral to your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and your commitment to being a teacher of the Catholic faith. It is meant to enhance your religious experience of receiving the body and blood of Christ so that you could better help others understand and desire the actual presence of Jesus in their lives when they receive Eucharist.
