Thanks, Cedros, for welcoming me

Gloria Saturday night April 23, 2011 is the most blessed day of my life.  This was the night I was baptised into the family of Jesus my Saviour.

I have been attending the St Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cedros over a long time and finally decided to surrender my life to Jesus.

The sessions in the RCIA programme on the Bible and the Church awakened my knowledge of things that were unclear to me and affirmed my decision to follow Jesus in the Catholic Church.

A few days before baptism I experienced a deep sense of joy and on Easter night as the waters of Baptism were poured on me, I felt happiness, peace and contentment.

As Fr Patrick Alexander signed me with Chrism for my Confirmation and as I received Jesus in the Eucharist, I thanked the Lord for this blessed moment.

Great was my joy when the congregation welcomed me to the Church community.

I thank you brothers and sisters of the Cedros parish and thank you Fr Patrick Alexander. Thanks to my sponsors who journeyed with me and thank you Jesus for every blessing.
